"What's your Signature Story?"
Do you have a Signature Story? If you don't, you need one. The world recognizes you for your signature. As unique as your thumbprint is, so is your Signature Story.
In the 1980s and 1990s, Mission and Vision statements were the name of the game. Let me ask you a question...
When was the last time you asked your employees to tell you what your company's mission statement is? Better yet, when you asked, how many answered correctly?
The unfortunate nature of Mission Statements makes them obsolete before even getting started.
Lengthy narratives that typically utilize a lexicon emulating most other like-sized companies make them forgettable almost instantly. A Signature Story on the other hand is high in relevant, emotional content. It's very design is grounded in memorability, likeability, and believability. T
he final ingredient of course is ALWAYS ... INSPIRATION!
Your employees need to believe your Signature Story. Once they believe, THEN and ONLY then do you roll it out to the public.
So... what's your Signature Story? Do you have a Signature Story? If you don't, you need one.
That's where Corporate Storytelling, and we together, begin.
